style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000The department of Banking and Finance was established in 1965 as a section of the department of Banking and Insurance.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000In 1973, the department of Banking and Insurance was divided into two departments, department of Banking and department of Insurance,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000The Graduate Institute of Money, Banking and Finance, established in 1986, offers the degree of Master of Business,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000The department of Banking was further renamed to the present one as the department of Banking and Finance in 1988.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000Ph.D. degree in Finance was further to offered since 1998, which expanded our program considerably. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000The Executive Master&#39;s Program of Business Administration(EMBA) in Finance was established in 2000 for the need of financial industry.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000In year 2000, the night school of this department was transformed to continuing education undergraduate program, which offers one class each year. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000The Graduate Institute of Money, Banking and Finance was renamed to the present one as the Gradate Institute of Banking and Finance in 2003. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000In year 2003, the two sub-majors in the Graduate program, Banking and Finance, are redesigned to Finance and Financial Engineering to pursue the progress of Financial industry.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000To meet the development of financial industry in Taiwan, in 2015, the degree of Master of Business was re-organized into two divisions: theoretical finance division and practical finance division.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000Doctoral Program in Finance Industry and Business Management was established in 2017.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align:justify\"><span style=\"text-justify:inter-ideograph\"><span style=\"font-family:\u6a19\u6977\u9ad4\">\u3000\u3000In 2018, theoretical finance division and practical finance division in the degree of Master of
