History<\/strong><\/span><\/span>
\nIn the academic year 2021, with an aim to push forward the
\ninternationalization policy of the university and highlight the special
\nfeatures of its development, the Department of Banking and Finance has
\nredesigned its undergraduate program and came up with a brand new
\nprogram\uff0dDIVISION OF GLOBAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (English\u2010taught
\nprogram), formerly known as Bachelor's Program in Global Financial
\nManagement (English\u2010Taught Program). All the courses of the program are
\nfully instructed in English with no exception.<\/p>\n

\nThe major courses of the first two years of study will focus on the
\nfundamental theories related to international financial management. The
\nJunior Year will emphasize its study on scopes of internationalization, IT
\nbased information, and futuristic education to bring up financial talents.
\nThe Senior year curriculum will focus on both financial theories and
\npractical practices, which will enable students to evenly cultivate in diverse
\nfields.<\/p>\n

\nWith an aim to emphasis the development of globalization and to position
\ntwo different existing programs with harmony, the department restructures
\nits curriculum with one division of Banking and Finance which emphasizes
\ntraditional financial contents and with another division of English\u2010taught
\nDIVISION OF GLOBAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT which concentrates on global
\nfinancial management activities and puts international differences into
\nconsiderations and reconciles all global resources with harmony.<\/p>\n

\nThe department set sails to cultivate qualitative Banking and Finance and
\nGlobal Financial Management elites. Every graduate from our department
\nwould without doubt play a key person role in every professional area and
\nbecome the social ascendancy of nowadays society.<\/p>\n

\nEmployment opportunities span the global, across corporate finance,
\ninvestment institute, banking and government. From and basic economic
\ntheory, corporate finance, principle investment courses, you can get ready
\nto more profound investment courses, such as fixed income, derivatives,
\ninvestment bank, wealth management, and financial engineering to
\nprepare for the test of CFA and FRM.<\/p>\n

\nCareer Opportunity<\/strong>
\nWe focus on each individual future plans. Pupils would have career
\nguidance from freshman year and homeroom teachers would help support
\npupils to think futuristically. DIVISION OF GLOBAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT
\n(ENGLISH\u2010TAUGHT PROGRAM) would provide complete resources and
\nencourage pupils to take courses useful for their future career. With
\nfinancial profession and other specialties gained during the four years of
\nlearning, we believe this can broaden the views of pupils and create
\ncompetitive advantage for them in the future.<\/p>\n

\nFurther Development & Study Options<\/strong>
\nDIVISION OF GLOBAL FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (ENGLISH\u2010TAUGHT PROGRAM) is
\nthe foundation to enter the graduate program of College of Business and
\nManagement. There are 13 Chinese-Taught and 2 other English-Taught graduate
